Recently, I was prepared to post something on one of my social media outlets Facebook, when it asked me a pivotal, but practical question, “What’s on your mind?” This question kindled a fiery cognitive (thought) concerning the increase of loyalty that many are experiencing to dysfunctional behavior. As a result, many individuals are emotionally surviving childhood/adulthood traumas and church hurt from molestation, rape, abuse, divorce, relationship issues, and other experiences and events that continues to resurface causing temperamental mood swings.
Here’s my post that I started uploading, “Lately I thought it was others, but then I realized that is was me. I thought that I was the only one feeling peculiar. Recently, I asked myself, “I said self, self said, “Huh? Are you who God said that you are” Then the God consciousness inside of me spoke up and said, “You are still who I have created you to be. I have just changed your loyalty to dysfunctional behavior.” Me: “God, You have changed my loyalty to dysfunctional behavior?” God: “Yes! You have become loyal to dysfunctional behavior in malfunctioned (flawed) people” Me: “How?” God: “The fact that you are loyal to being socially impaired with people who need and needed you, but did not nor do not desire of you. This has caused you like many other leaders to be humanly broken, while needing people to validate your defective vulnerabilities. In other words, you have become harmed by behavior patterns and tendencies that blatantly undermines the stability of your God-ordained nature.” Me: “But God, how is this possible?” God: “It is possible through childhood/adulthood traumas, or church hurt. People, things, experiences, events, and habit-forming dependencies that leaves you emotionally withdrawn. This in essence, causes you and like many others (leaders and followers) who fail to acknowledge their introverted, unsociable, reclusive practices and posture because of trauma or what many in the Body of Christ are labeling it as ‘Church Hurt.’”
